Quaker University
Here at Quaker, we believe that successful people equal successful business. Quaker University (QU) was created to ensure that every Quaker employee has the opportunity to reach their career goals. Whether it’s development of new skills or enhancement of existing skills, QU provides education and career development to all of our employees.
Structured much like an actual university, QU strategically utilizes performance management related efforts to identify and assess current and future position and talent needs. We then provide the necessary training support to effectively address those opportunities. Our QU administrators through thoughtful design, have developed a wide range of training formats provided via a combination of various training platforms, external vendors, and internal subject matter experts.
Career Counseling Program
Our newest QU program is the Career Counseling Program. This voluntary program guides our trainees through a career development plan that is specifically customized to their career aspirations. Through this program, the trainee identifies the career destination and then QU provides the map and support to get there.
While there are no final destination guarantees, this program provides additional knowledge, skills, and abilities. These should better prepare the trainees for potential opportunities. As much as Quaker continues to grow, these opportunities seem to keep growing as well. We’re proud to invest in our people and to support their success through QU!
